  I love the church here on Gary Drive. I have so many fond memories here of youth activities, cultural celebrations, holiday parties, service projects, and of course worship services. I found that most of the people that go to this church are very kind and down-to-earth, and if you go to the congregation called 'Oxnard 6th Ward' those guys love to laugh. However, despite how much fun we all can have, during the sacrament meeting it is very quiet and reverent. It is a good place to ponder and feel the Spirit. The clergymen don't get paid, but they love to help you out and answer any questions. It is interesting that the speakers aren't paid either, speaking assignments are given to designated members of the congregation. After sacrament there are really interesting scripture-study classes for different age groups which encourage class discussion and participation.
